Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license
- Experience with school-aged children or a strong desire to work in a school setting
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills for engaging with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to develop and deliver Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Familiarity with assessments, documentation, and progress reporting within an educational framework
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Develop targeted therapy goals and implement engaging interventions that align with IEP objectives
- Provide direct and consultative services to support students in academic and daily living skills
- Maintain updated documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate as a valued member in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions to promote student success
- Offer resources and training to staff and caregivers to further students’ growth and independence inside and outside the classroom
