School Occupational Therapist - Norwalk, Connecticut

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active OTR/L license required
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
- Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with assistive technology, sensory integration, or students with diverse needs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for a caseload of 8-9 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Support student access to learning through fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation strategies
- Adapt therapy activities to meet the unique needs of a small and supportive private school setting
