Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut (CT)
- Experience working with K-12 populations, ideally within a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs
- Experience developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct student assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Develop creative interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Maintain detailed documentation and stay current with best practices in school-based OT
