School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Waterbury, Connecticut

Key Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (CT DPH License and NBCOT exam required)
- Prior school-based experience highly desired
- Familiarity with supporting diverse disability populations across multiple grade levels
- Experience working across district-wide or multi-campus settings, a plus
- Dependable transportation to reach district sites
- Strong ability to document progress and participate in interdisciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under OT supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their goals
- Track and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary
- Consult and communicate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure seamless services
- Travel to and serve students throughout the entire district
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, scheduling, and workflow standards
Position Details:
- Full-time, approx. 7–7.5 hours per day; district confirmation on final schedule pending
- Begin August 27, 2026, providing coverage for approximately 12 weeks (potential for extension)
