Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and carrying out engaging interventions tailored to students’ individual needs. You’ll document progress, consult with school personnel, and participate in IEP meetings, becoming an integral part of each student’s educational journey. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule—37.5 hours per week—you’ll enjoy both structure and the chance to meaningfully impact lives every day.
Ideal candidates possess:
- A master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Maryland OT state license/certification
- Experience providing school-based OT services (strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite for the entirety of the contract
