School-based Occupational Therapist
Oakley, CA
Soliant has partnered with a small school district in Oakley, CA, and is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2026-27 school year. Applicants will be working with preschool to 8th grade students, and cover two to three sites.
Requirements:
- California OT license
- Previous schools or pediatrics experience strongly preferred
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly, W2 pay of $62 to $75/hr
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Employer matched 401(k)
As a school-based Occupational Therapist, the candidate will:
- Evaluate newly referred students and conduct periodic assessments of current students
- Determine if new students are eligible for services; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families
- Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals in accordance with evaluation results
- Consult with teachers, parents, other staff members and private based medical professionals
- Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and student progress
