In this position, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational therapy services for students with varying needs. Your work will help students develop essential skills for independence and learning. The caseload will fluctuate throughout the year, offering a dynamic environment and opportunities to positively impact a variety of students.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license
- Experience or interest in working within school settings as well as providing services in homebound environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to travel between school sites and students’ homes as needed
- Ability to document services and progress clearly and accurately
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct OT services to students in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
- Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student achievement and accessibility
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Flexibly manage a fluctuating caseload, responding to varying student needs throughout the school year
- Serve both onsite at the school and with a small number of homebound students
Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours. The school assignment site will be determined, with homebound services required as needed.
