Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Active and valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license (required to be submitted with resume)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational OT settings preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for students, including those with significant medical needs
- Adaptability for serving both in-school and homebound populations as caseload demands shift
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with families, educators, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and design student-centered intervention plans
- Provide therapy sessions to students in the school building and, as needed, to those who are homebound
- Collaborate with IEP teams to support educational and functional outcomes
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress; adjust interventions as needed
- Document sessions and communications according to school and regulatory standards
