Ideal Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for California
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Background in home health, teletherapy, or healthcare settings a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment and intervention plans
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students' needs to develop therapeutic interventions designed to improve their functional abilities
- Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students onsite in both schools
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records, in compliance with regulations
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents regularly to offer strategies and progress updates
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities and overall school success
