In this contract position near Vista, CA, you’ll work onsite with a diverse K-12 caseload, collaborating with school staff and families to make a tangible difference in students’ daily lives.
Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California OT licensure
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings (K-12)
- Background in school, home health, and healthcare-based OT practices
- Ability to implement therapy plans both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability to address students’ needs across different grade levels and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
