School Occupational Therapist - Oxon Hill, Maryland

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience delivering OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated familiarity with K-12 educational settings and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with teachers, staff, and parents
- Ability to adapt to students’ varying needs and to work across multiple grade levels
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to K-12 students
- Work collaboratively with educational teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
- Offer both direct therapy and consultative services based on student needs
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage with students, staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and successful outcomes
