Desired Qualifications:
- Valid OT license for the state of Alaska (AK Licensure required)
- TYPE C Certification required
- Previous school-based OT experience is highly preferred
- National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
- Ability to manage a student caseload with approximately 1,000 minutes of direct contact per week (around 16 hours)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and development
- Develop individualized plans that address students’ unique needs and goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and student support planning
- Commit to in-person, onsite work; virtual delivery is not an option for this role
