Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Alaska
- TYPE C Certification (required)
- AK-Certified highly preferred
- Experience in school-based therapy preferred, but open to those eager to gain experience in this setting
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 1000 minutes of direct student services per week
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability working in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students in an in-person setting
- Work closely with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Monitor student progress, update documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team consultations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Commit to serving the full school term through May 21, 2027
