Occupational Therapist School Setting - Sutton, AK

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Type C Certification required
- Alaska OT license (must be current and in good standing)
- School-based occupational therapy experience is highly desirable
- Approximately 1000 minutes/week of direct student contact (16 hours/week)
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying student needs
- AK-Certified preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, in-person occupational therapy services to students per individualized education plans
- Work closely with school staff and families to support students’ educational goals
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy sessions and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to evaluating student development
- Adapt therapy and intervention plans as necessary based on student response
