Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and enrichment for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services, supporting functional, sensory, and motor development
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Educate staff and families on techniques to encourage student independence
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based OT
