Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience providing OT services to children or adolescents in schools preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educational staff, families, and students
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and maintaining detailed documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as per IEP requirements
- Assess, plan, and implement intervention strategies to enhance student performance in academic and functional tasks
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals across multiple school sites
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and necessary documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and recommendations for classroom accommodations
Position Options:
- Full-time district-wide role (40 hours per week), supporting a caseload of approximately 60 students across 4 school sites.
- Part-time role (16 hours per week), with caseload and specific locations to be determined.
