Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license for the state of Wisconsin
- Experience delivering OT services in schools, including IEP development and progress monitoring
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and tools for remote intervention
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other team members
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments, create targeted intervention plans, and document services efficiently
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience serving diverse student populations, including those with mild to moderate disabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, on-site and via teletherapy as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom participation and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Support students’ sensory, fine motor, and functional skills to optimize learning outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based OT
