We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate opening in Sun Prairie, WI, serving an Early Childhood and Early Elementary caseload for the remainder of the full school year.
Position Details

- Caseload: Early Childhood and Early Elementary
- Caseload Size: 32 students total
- 24 direct service
- 8 consult
Requirements For OT Candidates
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, active Wisconsin OT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- NBCOT certification
For COTA Candidates
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current, active Wisconsin OTA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- NBCOT certification (COTA)
- Working under the supervision of a licensed OT per Wisconsin supervision requirements
All Candidates
- Wisconsin DPI (Department of Public Instruction) license/credential for school-based practice, or willingness to obtain
- Experience with pediatric/school-based practice preferred
- Experience with Early Childhood (EC) populations strongly preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass background check (including caregiver background check per Wisconsin requirements)
- Strong documentation skills (IEP goals, progress notes, consult logs)
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a school district or educational setting
- Familiarity with IDEA and IEP process
- Experience with sensory processing, fine motor, and functional skill development in young children
- Experience balancing both direct and consult service delivery models
