You'll play a vital role in supporting students within Autistic Support, Life Skills, and Multiple Disabilities classrooms, providing OT services that foster growth, independence, and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience supporting school-aged individuals with low-incidence disabilities (autism, life skills, multiple disabilities)
- Strong organizational skills for effective caseload management and paperwork
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEP-based interventions and goals
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in various special education settings
- Assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and track progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the program
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and parent conferences as needed
