Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
- Excellent communication skills to connect with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to interpret assessment data and apply findings to interventions
- Strong organization and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments according to student needs
- Interpret results and communicate findings clearly to IEP team members and parents
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP or 504 plans
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide consultative support to teachers and COTAs as assigned
- Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making for student programming
