What you'll bring:
- Valid state-issued Occupational Therapy license
- Experience in educational, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of OT interventions in schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices
Key responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group OT services to students as identified in IEPs and 504 plans
- Assess students’ functional and developmental skills and craft individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams to troubleshoot barriers and celebrate student growth
- Document all evaluations, sessions, and consultations in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based trainings
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff to facilitate inclusive classrooms
Compensation for this role starts at $47 per hour and is determined based on your experience and specialty area. Candidates on travel assignments may also qualify for housing and meal stipends.
