Occupational Therapist School Setting in Port Orchard, WA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid ESA and Washington State OT License required
- Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI
- Experience in a school setting or strong interest in pediatric/educational therapy
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs
- Ability to provide documentation and current licensure when applying
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students across assigned grade bands (assignments based on candidate experience and district needs)
- Partner with special education and regular education staff to create and implement IEP goals
- Provide assessments, evaluations, and intervention plans tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth
- Communicate progress regularly with families and educational staff
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district guidelines
