Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold active Washington state OT licensure
- Experience or training in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy settings
- Comfortable providing care both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Professional approach and adaptability to varying caseloads and disabilities (details determined upon assignment)
- Reliable internet and technology proficiency for telepractice services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized plans to help students achieve educational success
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions, adapting strategies for both in-person and virtual modalities
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration and student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute insights for student learning plans
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
