Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin
- Prior experience working within a school setting, elementary preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and educational collaboration
- Ability to effectively manage a part-time caseload across multiple locations
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-age students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Travel between two school sites as needed to provide timely and effective therapies
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school/district policies
Additional Notes:
- Position is for approximately 20 hours per week, from ASAP until the Thanksgiving holiday break
- Director has indicated the possibility of extending into a full-time role until Thanksgiving
- There may also be an option to transition into a neighboring district for a part-time opportunity for the remainder of the school year
