You’ll work 20 hours per week across two school sites, supporting young learners as they develop foundational skills. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes and foster independence, making a real difference for students and their families.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Wisconsin
- Previous experience working in school settings, ideally with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
- Dedication to supporting diverse student needs and adapting approaches to maximize student success
- Ability to travel between two school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary students, focused on skill building and functional independence
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT goals into classroom activities
- Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Employ creative, engaging interventions that support students’ participation in the school environment
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere where students can thrive
