What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapy license is essential.
- Preferred: Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
- School-based OT experience is a strong plus.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple sites as an itinerant provider.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to serving diverse student populations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans.
- Conduct student assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement therapy programs for both mild and severe needs.
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, records, and required documentation.
- Provide resources and education to staff and families to support student success.
- Adapt therapy approaches for varying school environments and student caseloads.
