Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active, current license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Preferred initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Possession of a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs across multiple sites in the district
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop IEP goals and ensure effective therapy implementation
- Assess students’ needs, document progress, and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in meetings and consultations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district policies
