Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Washington State certification and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
- Currently residing in the United States with completed fingerprinting/background checks
- At least one year of direct, school-based Occupational Therapy experience
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in person
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, adaptable to working across different school locations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluation and intervention services to students ages 3 to 22 across multiple school sites
- Participate in four paid orientation days in mid to late August prior to the start of the school year
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Develop individualized treatment plans to foster independence and support educational participation
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and communication with families and colleagues
- Provide training and consultation to staff and families regarding adaptive strategies and equipment
