Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students across K–12 as a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the upcoming school year. As part of your role, you'll serve students at two locations, working with a diverse population that includes general education and self-contained classrooms. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid COTA license and certification
- Strong background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy support
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and goals
- Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate in team settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable adapting to the needs of both general education and self-contained classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans developed by OTs
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Document student progress and report to supervising OT and educational staff
- Engage in IEP meetings and support related service documentation
- Provide adaptive strategies during classroom activities
- Travel between assigned school locations as scheduled
