Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is beneficial
- Strong understanding of educationally relevant therapy and IEP processes
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for student development
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, during the school contracted period
Role Highlights:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students as indicated by individualized education programs
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation per state and district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop support strategies
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and plans
- Utilize creativity and clinical expertise to accommodate various learning styles and needs
