School Occupational Therapist | Katy, Texas

This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to make a lasting impact across multiple school campuses within a thoughtfully assigned zone, keeping your commute in mind.
You’ll manage a caseload designed for both balance and optimal student support—typically around 70 students, with direct services concentrated to 30-40 students and the remainder needing consultative care. Sessions operate on a flexible rotation, with most students not seen weekly. Your responsibilities will focus exclusively on treatment, as there are no supporting COTAs, offering you autonomy and the chance to truly own your contribution.
Qualifications:

- Recent, hands-on school-based or pediatric OT/COTA experience strongly preferred
- Comfort working independently with a split caseload—direct care and consult
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and participate in ARDs
- Familiarity with SHARES and Onward documentation systems is a plus
- Must be able to pass fingerprinting requirements (or have existing prints in the system)
- Willingness to work a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), typically 8:00am–4:00pm or 7:30am–3:30pm
- Please note: The district cannot consider former employees for this opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy treatment to students in your assigned zone
- Complete assessments and participate in ARDs as required
- Maintain accurate documentation using district software and logs for IEPs
- Rotate between 6–7 assigned schools
