School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) San Jose, CA | Full-Time Contract
Location: San Jose, California
Job Type: Full-Time (37.5–40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 186-Day School-Year Contract
Start Date: August 2026
Pay Range: $45–$55/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students across TK–8th grade
Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
Conduct evaluations and assessments and develop IEP goals
Create and implement individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Travel between 2–3 school sites within the district
Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress
Qualifications
Active California OT License required
School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, organization, and report-writing skills
