Skills & Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- School-based OT experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Adaptable and creative approach to problem-solving within dynamic school settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and write clear, actionable reports
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support students’ daily participation and academic achievement
- Develop and implement activities to enhance students’ functional skills in self-care, classroom participation, and social interaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and progress notes in accordance with state and district requirements
