There are two immediate, full-time positions available:
- Position 1: Provide coverage for a leave from August 25th to October 4th, assisting elementary-aged students in their daily routines and contributing to a positive start to the school year.
- Position 2: Engage in a longer-term assignment from September 1, 2026, through the end of the school year, serving students in North County Schools and providing consistent, ongoing support through the academic calendar.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with a valid Florida state credential, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Ability to develop creative interventions tailored to IEP goals and individual student needs.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities to determine their needs within an educational setting.
- Design and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings.
- Provide regular progress reports and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in developing classroom strategies that support student participation and success.
