Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Delaware licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Compassionate approach and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-6
- Develop and implement individualized interventions to support student success in the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to ensure holistic care plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and required evaluations
- Maintain thorough records of sessions and contribute to progress reporting
- Engage in periodic assessments and testing to inform student needs and goals
