Occupational Therapist School Setting - Seattle, WA

Occupational Therapists will be assigned to caseloads based on grade level and program requirements, ensuring a dynamic workday and the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment. This contract opportunity runs during regular school hours, allowing for a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License (SLP credential also accepted)
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Must have completed fingerprinting through OSPI
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Adaptable, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across various grade levels
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students based on their specific needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support personnel, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely student documentation per state and district requirements
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Promote students’ independence and participation within the educational environment
