Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to an exciting full-time contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is based near Seattle, WA, and is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential in an engaging school environment. Four Occupational Therapists are needed, with scheduling tailored to your strengths and the evolving needs of the district. You’ll work exclusively in person, providing individualized support within grade bands that will be matched to your experience and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Active WA SLP License
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI
- Proven experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to work with a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Assess student needs and develop intervention plans that foster academic and functional participation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to design and implement effective strategies
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
