Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure and certification in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting, preferably K-12
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administration, students, and families
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI required prior to start
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Passion for student advocacy and inclusive, functional interventions
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with IEP goals for students across grade levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough, compliant records
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory integration, and functional needs
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to optimize student engagement and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain a consistent schedule onsite, providing direct services and support within 37.5 hours per week
