This contract opportunity offers you the flexibility to work part-time, just two days a week, for the upcoming 26-27 school year. You will deliver in-person OT support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and skill levels
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and activities addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in adapting learning materials and classroom environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall well-being and progress of students
