Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Maryland (MD) Occupational Therapy license
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy and/or healthcare settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver therapy services tailored to each student’s educational and developmental goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Promote independence, participation, and self-advocacy for students in the school environment
- Provide training or guidance to staff and families as appropriate
