Occupational Therapist School Setting in Snohomish, WA

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting near Snohomish, WA. This onsite contract position is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year, offering full-time hours at 37.5 per week. You’ll serve a diverse caseload of 40 students ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade, playing a key role in their growth and development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Washington Teaching Certificate may be required
- Experience supporting school-aged children, especially in PreK–5th grade populations, is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP processes and goal-based therapy planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress for a caseload of 40 students
- Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student success in academic and functional settings
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations to guide student support plans
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
