You’ll support a mixed caseload of approximately 50-55 students spanning elementary and secondary levels, with assignments across one to two school locations throughout the district. Your expertise will help students access their education, while you enjoy a dynamic, enriching experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current NV OT license (required prior to start)
- Previous experience with school-based OT preferred, but open to motivated clinicians ready to transition into education
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of 50-55 students with varied needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, families, and support staff
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in team meetings
- Comfortable traveling between 1-2 assigned sites as needed
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy and evaluations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, therapy services, and progress evaluations within the school setting
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the district’s IEP management system (training provided)
- Consult regularly with educators, families, and colleagues to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in scheduled team meetings, indirect services, and administrative duties
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports student engagement and participation
