We are actively seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join a supportive K–12 school district in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and passionate new graduates looking to grow their careers in a school-based setting.

As a School Occupational Therapist, you will work directly with students, educators, and families to support developmental growth, independence, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities – Occupational Therapist (OT)

Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K–12 students in accordance with IEPs
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation per Virginia state and district guidelines
Support student development in:
Fine motor skills
Sensory processing
Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Functional independence in the classroom
Qualifications – School-Based OT Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Virginia Occupational Therapist License (or ability to obtain)
NBCOT Certification required
Previous school-based OT experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
