- Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services to students across multiple buildings
- Conducting assessments and writing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to address student needs and promote independence and participation in school activities
- Providing both push-in and pull-out sessions as appropriate for varied student needs
- Maintaining accurate records and progress monitoring documentation
- Participating in IEP meetings and school-based multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offering training and consultation to staff as needed
Ideal candidates should bring:
- Valid Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate (required)
- Experience or strong interest in a K-12 school-based setting
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between school buildings as needed
- Team-oriented approach, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student growth
