Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience working within school settings preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and student goal-setting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, administration, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct or consultative services for students, focusing on activities of daily living, sensory processing, fine motor skills, and participation within the educational environment
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in the development and implementation of IEPs, goals, and intervention strategies tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Serve as a resource for teachers and school staff to support classroom accommodations and modifications
- Communicate progress and recommendations with families to promote carryover and success across settings
