Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
- This position requires direct OT services—submissions from COTAs are not accepted, as supervision cannot be accommodated
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines and timelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
- Contribute to IEP meetings and coordinate services to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Travel as needed between different school locations based on caseload assignment
