Are you a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to make a lasting impact in students' lives? We are seeking a motivated professional to join a collaborative school team in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you'll help students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and independently in the classroom.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and sensory strategies.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student participation and functional independence.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active California Occupational Therapist license.
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
Knowledge of special education regulations and the IEP process.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
