Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) looking for a rewarding school-based opportunity? We're partnering with a welcoming school district in Sunnyvale, CA to hire a full-time OT for a 6-month contract supporting students from preschool through 8th grade.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative special education team in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details
- Location: Sunnyvale, CA
- Contract: August 12, 2026 – February 12, 2027
- Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours per week
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Caseload: Preschool through 8th grade

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
- Complete documentation, progress reports, and evaluations in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support students' educational goals
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

- Competitive hourly pay: $52 to $64 per hour, based on experience
