Discover an exciting contract opportunity to support students’ growth and development as an Occupational Therapist for the full 26/27 school year. Here, you'll make a significant impact on young learners, working closely with both elementary and middle school students to enhance their academic and functional success. The role is located onsite, allowing you to form meaningful connections with students and staff in a vibrant educational environment.
You’ll work at a single school, managing a manageable caseload of approximately 41 students. Each day brings the chance to develop individualized interventions, collaborate with educators and families, and help students achieve their goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapist License for Washington State
- Experience or sincere interest in supporting K-8 students in a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEPs
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for empowering students to build both academic and life skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapies tailored to each student’s needs
- Work onsite, full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday) during the school year (September–June)
- Participate in student support teams and IEP meetings to ensure coordinated care
- Coach and collaborate with teachers and families for effective student support
- Document progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and communicate updates
