Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | New Mexico
This opportunity focuses on providing occupational therapy services within a school setting, with an emphasis on telehealth and direct student engagement. Responsibilities include delivering 30 minutes of direct occupational therapy weekly to each student, as well as coordinating an additional 1 to 2 hours per week for indirect services such as planning, documentation, and collaboration with educational staff. The assignment spans from August 3 through May 19, aligning with the academic calendar. Virtual occupational therapists with experience in school-based telehealth services are encouraged to consider this role.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid State OT licensure and credentialing for school-based services
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric occupational therapy within schools
- Comfort and competence delivering telehealth occupational therapy sessions
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to manage both direct and indirect therapy responsibilities efficiently
